What is Kindle Format 8?

Amazon claimed that, KF8 format allows publishers to launch more attractive pictures, comics, graphic novels based on improved function; it supports more file formats, and its design elements has also increased with an increase of more than 150 formats, including fixed layout, nested tables, sidebars, scalable graphics; in other words, text, fonts, layout and graphics enhance the capacity of the layout. It should be noted that the video and audio formats is temporarily unable to support HTML tags and CSS elements.
The new KF8 format only support Kindle Fire equipment now, but Amazon claimed that this format will expand to its product lines and applications sooner or later. It has not announced when KF8 published in the Amazon Kindle provided in the kit. But we can imagine that Kindle eBooks in the future will display a lot of interesting children's books, moving comic books that would be interesting.
What Device will support Kindle Format 8?
They are abandoning the old MOBI format while using the new Kindle Format 8, and the Kindle Fire will be the first equipment to support the new format KF8, and other Kindle device uses E-ink's will support it later; of course, the
existing MOBI format can be continued to use in E-ink device. Amazon Kindle will release new Kindle guidelines to facilitate the updating of existing MOBI file format with which users can create a richer effect.
Other devices will still support MOBI format so Kindle users don't need to worry about that. If an iPad user downloaded eBooks in MOBI format on Amazon Book Store and need to put them into iPad, you need to convert MOBI to ePub which is fully supported by iPad. If you are using Kindle, then you don't need to do any conversion.
What is the advantage of Kindle Format 8?
With its latest update of the Kindle e-book format, Amazon aims to promote e-books look and feel web pages. As Kindle file format updated, these files will appear to be long web forms, but it also brings benefits.
